Permitting & Administrative Procedures

Navigating the permitting landscape is often the most time-consuming phase of energy project development. Zelya Energy manages the full spectrum of administrative procedures on behalf of our clients: building permits, ICPE authorisations, environmental impact assessments, risk studies, grid connection requests, feed-in tariff applications and long-term land lease negotiations. We coordinate with local authorities, regulators, grid operators and stakeholders to keep projects on track and minimise delays.

Grid Connection Strategy & Assistance

Grid connection is not merely an administrative step — it is a strategic decision that can make or break a project's economics. Zelya Energy provides end-to-end assistance on connection strategy: we analyse the available options (distribution vs. transmission network, existing substation vs. new infrastructure), assess the technical and financial implications of each scenario and recommend the optimal route. We review and challenge the grid operator's proposed connection layouts and cost estimates, negotiate technical and commercial terms on your behalf, and do not hesitate to mobilise independent electrical engineering firms upstream to improve the operator's response. Our experience with TSOs and DSOs across multiple jurisdictions gives our clients a decisive advantage in securing favourable connection conditions.
